1. If you know at this point that you are unable to return next season
please let JASON know. "I already have 4 people interested in auditioning and need to know how many spots I may have open. I know of 2 sopranos who are coming back, and as you already know the more men we can add the more women we can add. You know the drill."
2. Right now we are looking to do our Winter concert on December 11,
2009. IT IS NOT SET IN STONE, BUT IF YOU KEEP THAT DATE OPEN IT WOULD BE GREAT. I WILL LET YOU KNOW WHEN IT IS SET.
3. Thec Eckman's We decided to have the party on August 29, 2009 as a "kick-off" party. That way we can also include the new members as well. They asked to have sopranos and tenors bring side dishes and altos and basses bring dessert. They will take care of the filet mignon and lobster tail for everyone!!! (Atleast that is what I took from the email......haha)
4. I would like to do a basic theory class for any interested person, BVC
member or not, on September 1, 2009 at 7:30 at St. Michaels. It will
probably be about 45 minutes or so and will be for basics. Please email
me and let me know if you are interested in this session, and if you have
ideas for additional sessions that would benefit your musicality.
