Hello All:

As usual the Summer has gone by too fast. Lots of new stuff on my end, including the birth of Madison Rose on August 9. She is beautiful!! Baby and Beth are doing well. I have attached a pic for you.

Some BVC info:

1. The first rehearsal will be at 7:30 PM on September 8. Looking forward to seeing all of you. This Winter concert will feature the Vivaldi Gloria with strings.

2. We have two weeks of auditions. August 25 and September 1. Now is the time to get those good singers into our group. I know many of you know of at least one singer who you think will be a good addition. The audition info is on the website and they can contact me to schedule an audition.

3. The date of the BVC party has been changed. It will now be held on September 12. We decided to change the date in order to have the party after the audition weeks and include the new members. It will be a brunch event! Thank you to the Eckmans for hosting! Here is the important info from Liz:

we are having the omelet king come so we can have omelets to order...yayee! nobody has to bring anything...just themselves and their families. the "king" only cooks for an hour and a half so if you want an omelette you must be there prior to 11. hopefully the weather will be nice and i will have some lawn games set up. otherwise get ready to rock out as i'm sure joe will have rock band set up in the basement.

4. The beginning theory session will be held at 7:00-7:30 PM on September 1 at St. Michaels. Remember, this is basic theory so if you are good on notes and dynamics you will be snoring 5 minutes in!! Just email me and let me know if you are interested.
